New Website Goes Live on Friday, August 25, 2006

On its 90th birthday, Friday, August 25, 2006, the National Park Service will launch a new look for all 390 Park Service area websites. The intent of the redesign is to standardize the look of the sites and improve navigation within the sites so that information may be found more easily.  

Many of the sites, including Hawai`i Volcanoes, are in a transition phase. Information from the Park's old website is currently being moved to this new site. You may still access information on the old site www.nps.gov/havo/home.htm. By September 2007, all Park information will be consolidated into the site you are visiting now.
